OUR STORY
As a 33 year old healthy and active mom, my diagnoses with breast cancer was a shock to say the least. I quickly came to realise that anyone at any age, male or female, can be a victim. The financial resources, amazing doctors and the best support structure I had, enabled me to have a warrior mentality, and it is my heart’s desire to give someone taking on this battle alone, the necessary means and support to also be a warrior against cancer.

Help Michelle Fight Again:
A Cancer Warrior Needs Us
In 2013, at just 41, she heard the words no one is ever prepared for:“You have cancer.”
Diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer, she faced one of the most aggressive forms of the disease. She began the fight of her life — all while grieving the loss of her mother and navigating a deeply troubled marriage.
Over the years, she endured:
But life didn’t get easier.In December 2023, after 30 years, she walked away from an emotionally damaging marriage — with nothing but her clothes and a bed.
She is now living with her children, who are doing their best to help her rebuild.
Then came another devastating blow.On 28 April 2025, during a routine blood test, her cancer markers came back positive.
She now urgently needs further medical investigation — but without medical aid or stable income, she cannot afford the R30,000 required for specialist consultations, blood tests, and a life-saving PET scan.
But we can change that.
Through our NPO, we are raising funds to help her access the care she desperately needs — because no one should have to face cancer alone, especially not a woman who has already fought so hard to survive.

BREAST INTENTIONS
Breast Intentions NPO was founded in 2023 by Ms. Chantelle Meyer that was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2022. The purpose of this NPO is to assist people that does not have the reasonable resources or funds to get the care they need, raise awareness and educate people.
Awareness surrounding breast cancer is incredibly important as early detection, often through screening, can catch the disease when it is most treatable.
Our aim is to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education about symptoms, treatment and screening.
